The Alliance of People with disAbilities has rejoined the Together Center campus. The agency is now located in the center’s Suite C-1 at 16225 N.E. 87th St., Redmond.
The Alliance of People with disAbilities is an Independent Living Center for King County and provides a variety of services to any person in the community who has any type of disability, regardless of age. Programs include information and referral, independent living skills training, peer support, advocacy and helping people transition to the right supportive environment.
Robert Blumenfeld, program manager, noted, “Our mission is: People with disAbilities advocating for equality and choice. The alliance works hard to make our community more accessible, inclusive, and usable for everyone. We help people whatever their disability: there’s no paperwork needed to come talk to us or begin a plan.”
